Get a snapshot of photography history at DIY History Day! Learn how photographs were taken before digital cameras. Examine artifacts including vintage cameras and discover the scientific processes that made photography possible. Then, make your own cyanotype, a photographic process that creates a blue-tinted print.

Drop in anytime from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. to explore history and do-it-yourself! 

DIY (Do-It-Yourself) History Days are a new program series of free, hands-on activities for children in the Museum. 

This program is generously funded by the EQT Foundation.
