Explore how nineteenth and twentieth century advancements paved the way for modern medicine. In this free and family-friendly program, students will experience multiple hands-on activities like a X-ray themed craft, and using a microscope to see firsthand how professional medicine rapidly evolved into its modern form during these centuries.
Additionally, explore an artifact display showcasing multiple medicinal devices and tools from the late nineteenth century.
Drop in anytime from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. to explore history and do-it-yourself!
DIY (Do-It-Yourself) History Days are a new program series of free, hands-on, family-friendly activities in the Museum.
There is no registration or cost to participate, and children must be accompanied by an adult.
