Join us at the Distillery for the official release of our eighth barrel of Monongahela Rye Whiskey, our first Straight Rye Whiskey since we reestablished West Overton Distilling in 2020. This flagship product from West Overton Distilling celebrates the heritage of rye whiskey production at West Overton and throughout the Monongahela Valley of southwestern Pennsylvania. 

Barrel 8 was distilled at West Overton with rye grown on site and locally sourced barley. After aging for a minimum of 2 years in a 30-gallon charred white oak barrel, the whiskey is proofed at 115 (barrel strength) and bottled by hand at the Distillery. As a single barrel product, this release of Monongahela Rye has one-of-a-kind tasting notes.

Our Monongahela Rye is in high demand and known to sell out quickly. Like all our products, our Monongahela Rye is available exclusively at the Distillery at West Overton Village.
